Trump bans three more news media – CNN, MS Now, Politic0 – from any contact with him.
We know he has a problem with the truth, and when journalists actually inform us [their job is to do this] about the facts, he roars, weeps, whines, lies and then gets a media employee fired or the media itself put out of business.
His latest peeve is the press reporting his plan to destroy the Kennedy Center because he has been disallowed by the courts to put his name on the building next to John F. Kennedy’s.
Blasphemy it is to ruin the Kennedy Center, and Blasphemy, thy name is Trump.
The press reports the thousands who surround the Kennedy Center to keep Trump’s hands off it. He says they lie. There are videos of it, which remind me of his saying it didn’t rain at his inauguration. That rainy day and this protest have been videoed around the world.
The press reports about the war he started, the interference of trade across the world because of it, the rising price of diesel fuel that bankrupts farmers, truckers, all produce going to market and thus defines what we can afford to buy for supper.
Journalists reported faithfully his bulldozing of the East Wing, sabotaging of the Rose Garden, ruination of the Reflecting Pool, trampling of the White House lawn by putting on cage wrestling parties and other such cultural events.
The midnight media makes fun of him on a consistent basis because he lies; Trump tries to get them fired because they hurt his feelings.
Many of us and all comedians are aware he has no sense of humor. This makes comedians doubly helpless before his pitifulness – they can only show him up for what he is by their ceaseless joking.
The first thing a bad apple does as he gets into office, which happens too often to democracies, is to step on the journalists – call them obnoxious piggies, stupid writers, enemies of the people, fake news, scum, lowlifes, disgraceful, nasty, dishonest.
Our particular apple does this to impress his base as well as train them to lie. He doesn’t realize that every castigation he utters is utterly true about himself.
He is the most tyrannical toddler to which we’ve ever been exposed.
He is the whiniest self-pitying imposter, negater, grumbler, immature bellyacher, peevish complainer, untrustworthy, doltish party-pooper.
[That was fun.]
Now, who wants to vote for his lapdog House members and Senators come November? They hurt us because they’re afraid of him, or are paid off by him, and told by him the lie that it’s the Democrats who are doing these above-mentioned deeds. I don’t understand what underhanded persuasion he uses to make these elected folks lose their integrity and become liars like him, and I don’t understand what retailer, farmer, public employee, law enforcement officer, military person, car owner or consumer could vote for someone who answers to him and therefore winds up screwing the public.
